Bantam B1 takes 3rd place in Albert Lea

The North Metro B1’s captured 3rd place this weekend in Albert Lea. The team began the tournament with a tough loss against Edina (7-1). The boys then rebounded with decisive victories against Mankato (11-1) and Albert Lea (8-1).
Sunday’s 3rd place game started with Andover pulling out to a quick 2 goal lead. Although the lads were out-hustling Andover all game, it took until the 3rd period to finally get on the scoreboard. That’s when the boys then scored 3 unanswered goals to bring home the hardware for North Metro. Final score 3-2.
The win was a fantastic team effort and an exciting game to watch.
