North Metro Youth Hockey Association

Hockey is not an end. It is a means to an end. There is nothing inherently good about scoring, forechecking, backchecking, or winning. It is only good if it promotes education and learning. Those that come away with a higher work ethic, honesty, and integrity are the true winners. Hockey does not build character, rather it reveals it. It's these values that do more than anything else we develop that will be the true measure of how successful the NMYHA is.

Help needed through Mar 18th

We are hosting the Bantam C district tournament over the next 2 weeks (3/8 through 3/18). Again, there is a huge staffing issue, not only for the concession stand but for penalty boxes, timekeepers, and scorekeepers.

Thanks in advance for any time you can give. It's greatly appreciated by all. And, if you know someone who hasn't completed their hours, give them a good jab and tell them to get moving. :-D

Please let me know if you have any questions,

2009/10 Survey

Below is a link to the 2009/10 survey.

Coaches, players & parents please take a moment to complete this survey.  It's the associations best way to find out how the season went… what worked, what didn't and what people want to see changed or kept the same.

Thank you

NMYHA

Spring/Summer hockey opportunities

Summer Hockey 3v3 League

Hat Trick Sports in Saint Louis Park has team registration open for the 2010 3v3 League. The league will have 22 games split over two sessions, 11 during the Spring and 11 during the Fall.  There will also be playoffs after the second session to crown a champion in each division. All of the games will be played on our 2 small ice rinks at Hat Trick Sports which provide a perfect venue for players to improve their skills in a very fun and competitive environment.  We would love to get some teams from North Metro to play in this years league which has divisions for Mite through Bantam, and also Girls U12 and High School.
